Construction of the new Go Dance studio is moving right along. This week the painters are in, and our beautiful wood dance floors arrived this morning. Here are some pictures of the new space, check them out and let us know if you have any room name ideas!
Future ReceptionOur new reception area features a glass wall on the left into the Grand Ballroom. I know our entire admin staff is looking forward to being able to see what is going on, but also being able to hear better on the phone. From the reception area if you go to the right there is a hall to the restrooms, and our offices. I'm looking forward to having all our offices near the reception area and avoiding my hourly sprints to the front desk, guess I'll have to plan for different exercise!
The new Grand BallroomWith a 40x60 ft dance floor the new Grand Ballroom sets a new standard!
Future Showroom?This room doesn't quite have the same "fish bowl" feel as the current Showroom. The windows you see are near the main mall entrance. We are leaning towards keeping the name "Showroom" for this room. What do you think?
Ballroom Needs A NameOur 2nd largest ballroom is wall to wall dance floor, and is the same size as the current Grand Ballroom floor. Although this room is nothing to sneeze at it is currently plagued by an identity crisis as it has no name. Ballroom Needs A Name would greatly appreciate any suggestions you may have for a name, it longs to know it's place in the world.
Student LoungeOur new student lounge is adjacent to the Grand Ballroom dance floor, and the doors to the 2 other ballrooms are conveniently located off each end of the lounge.

Enjoying this blog. Will you remind us where the new studio will actually be? Is it still in the mall? Different side? Please let us know.
The new Go Dance Studio will still be in Northcross. We will be located in the west end of the center, with our entrance facing Anderson Ln between Guitar Center and Wall Papers To Go. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Is there a floor plan you could scan in?
It would be nice to see how all the rooms
fit together.
The new studio is amazing. For the 2nd ballroom what about something Texas-ish like "The Bluebonnet Ballroom," or "Wildflower Ballroom," or even the "Longhorn Ballroom", Then there's things like "the Northcross ballroom" or "Anderson Ballroom, then there the ever popular "Wally World Ballroom" LOL!!
